BUFFET DVD NO. 1
Variety, they say, is the spice of life. They also sometimes say that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Maybe it’s these concepts that explain the power of a great buffet meal. It was that perfect combination of flavors and aromas that we were after as we put together Buffet: No.1. Since the city of Houston, TX is itself an endless sterno-warmed parade of variety (food, weather, culture) and a large inspiration behind this project, it seemed only natural to make it the theme of the first issue. We invited artists from Houston and beyond to submit video works that reflect this spice and texture of life in this city. We’ve also thrown our own BUFFET produced palette cleansers in to the mix.
